Lateral Press Publishing started in 1994 as “The Lateral Press” pro wrestling newsletter.  Over the years, we have expanded into book publishing as well.

In July 2005, we launched the first version of the Lateral Press website, LateralPress.com, as an online version of our newsletter.

The print edition of our newsletter was reborn in 2010 when Michael Hicks, the younger brother of Lateral Press Publishing owner Tim Hicks, took over as the managing editor.  Michael Hicks is responsible for content featured in the print editions and is using the Lateral Press name under license from our company.
